Explore south Iceland

Explore the south through experiences shaped by the land , from horseback riding and glacier adventures to quiet moments in nature, all just beyond your cabin door.

Bistro 1782

Morning, done the local way.

Named after the 1783 eruption of Lakagígar, Bistro 1783 is a warm, relaxed space overlooking Vatnajökull glacier. A place to slow down over good food, quality coffee and candlelit evenings after a day of exploring.

BREAKFAST

A generous breakfast buffet with freshly baked bread, pastries, Skyr, fruit, eggs, bacon, coffee and more.

LUNCH

Served daily from 12:30–15:30. Thoughtful dishes, good coffee and a quiet midday pause.

DINNER

Seasonal Icelandic flavours inspired by the surrounding land, served in a relaxed atmosphere. Open from 18:00-22:00

Please note: Dinner reservations are recommended before 17:30.
